Right side of teeth very sensitive?

Ever since I had work done on my teeth by my dentist a few weeks ago, the right side of my mouth has been very sensitive when it comes to very cold liquid. Every time I fill up a water bottle, I have to wait a while till it warms up b/c the coldness affects the right side of my teeth and when I brush my teeth, if I use cold water, the right side of my teeth are in complete pain. I've only experienced this since my last appointment, I know I should talk to him about it, but is that normal after having some work done on it?
