Security camera question???????????????

i just bought a new secruty camera for 50 dollars today and i have a few questions about them. i'm wanting to install it outdoors. on my porch showing my front door,yet i will have it on the porch hanging from the ceiling. it's weatherproof,yet it won't be out in the weather it will be inside on my porch shielded by the porch roof. but the porch is known to leak sometimes when it rains. and my conern is that when it rains,moisture will build up on the inside of the lens,thus causing the camera to become unusable to water inside,fogging/moisture inside the lens. and it says that it will work down to 14 degrees Fahrenheit. it sometmies gets down that low. and sometimes it's known to go down to 10 maybe. my main consern is moisture getting in from the sometimes leaky roof and the coldness/wetness getting inside the camera lens,thus making it useless. it is weatherproof/but am i just worrying to much about the problem??
