My angry bf - won't forgive me but wont call it off either?

It appears he is either using this "transgression" to distance himself from the relationship or that he is using it to control you. Either way, it is NOT HEALTHY for you. You have apologized and begged. He KNOWS you want him back, you don't have to keep saying it. In fact, it will make you look desperate which will only make him treat you worse, since he has proven by his actions that he has the capability of being heartless. Go no contact with him. No explanations necessary. Please...trust me on this one. From his earlier responses, I can almost guarantee you'll hear from him; however, it would be a blessing in disguise if you don't. It's going to hurt, a lot. But if you don't, he will destroy your self esteem.
